Another plane movie, so I didn't get to fully enjoy the whole soundscape, including the wonderful scores that accompany all Indy films. I'm a huge Indu fan and have loved the films since childhood. This movie was alright. A real odd one out, out of place. It has its moment is solidly entertaining, though the script feels twisted into knots
This one demands a rewatch, since I saw it on a plane. Is it entertaining? Yeah. Is it gripping? Definitely, I was curious to see how it played out. Is it made well? Sure, it was pretty to look at and had decent pacing. Is it a good film? I have absolutely no idea, really. I have no clue what this film is trying to say or explore. But I could just be stupid.
Ah, pure nostalgia. Fond memories watching this as kid on VHS and being utterly enchanted. The lush, heroic, neo-Romantic score most definitely contributed to this miniseries' allure. Sam Neil is one of my favorite Merlins, and he bring a whimsy to the roll that sets it apart from other more iconographic depictions.
