  when i think of things that fostered my early love for cooking, the scene of matilda dancing around the kitchen and telekinetically making pancakes always comes to mind :’) maybe i’m biased or maybe it’s nostalgia or maybe this is actually perfect!

  sometimes i think goddard’s characters are the most annoying people ever imagined but i always end up coming back to the same conclusion- it is vital that these people start off as unlikable. their stories are only stronger because of it. they’re just grown up kids playing house. despite their desperate pursuits of what they think adulthood should look like, you have to admire their whimsy.
