Wes Anderson is still finding his footing here, but this is still a great debut. All three Wilson brothers kill it

The Actor 2025
The most digestible version of a memory loss film I've seen. The stylistic choices of old Hollywood mixed with traditional theatre cliches fit in seamlessly. I loved the editing choices and how they transition between scenes reflecting how his memory fades in and put.
I'd recommend this to nearly anybody. It is accesible for casual fans and has enough unique and intricate choices under the surface for fans of more experimental films.

Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai 1999
Such a real and grounded execution of a topic that coule very wasily be dismissed as unbelievable or impossible.
Excellent performances from the entire cast.
There are some many themes, references, and easter eggs throughout the entire film. Could very easily watch this 3 more times.

Fast Times at Ridgemont High 1982
Pretty of its time. Dated in some ways, but a nice vignette tale of many people's different lives in High School. Also Nick Cage and Forrest Whitaker are in this movie!?!
