Just watched this impeccable human achievement on the big glistening silver screen and my good god do I love this movie. Brings unbridled joy and soul crushing sadness. Also I learned it’s based off a 50s actress being left dead in her room for 3 days and being ate by her dog. a masterpiece in every sense of the word. Not a single second is wasted every scene is important and with this watch I was met with the most clarity. David you fucking bloody legend I think every single film you have is a masterpiece I hope your soul is resting in the radiator.

The Insider 1999
Feels like I should have at least heard this muttered before so astonished that I’ve never heard about this. The acting is outstanding and the story it self is portrayed fantastically I’m officially a Michale Mann fan without knowing anything about his character but it’s a price I’m willing to pay.

Yeah so this blew me away. I really like the original and Werner Herzog’s take/tribute of the film. But Egger’s ran away with it he made it completely his own. Such an atmospheric film that grasps not only the era, but the true horror of vampires. Some of the best shadows and lighting I’ve personally seen. The movement of the camera feels extremely unique. Every detail is detailed, but what else can you expect from bob. The acting is phenomenal the sets and costumes are as well and everything about it takes you in to that world and time period.
