This film put its disease in me. It’s feels theatrical at many points and plays into the dichotomy of the two sides of town in a way only films and theatre can. Once it all comes together I cheered for Jeffrey’s actions before coming out of the closet. Also the interior design in this film is so perfect along with the soundtrack.. it’s such a brainchild of David Lynch. Weird to me at first, but as I put more thought into it I recognized its beauty. I probably wouldn’t have picked up that ear though…
