to me it felt like almost the opposite of trainspotting, an addiction where the character is trying to get out by his own accord and reeled in by the people and setting around them, versus a character continuing their addiction because of themself and the people around them trying to help and stop the addiction and lead to a better life. also he had some freaky gremlin stance during the bike scene and it scared me
