The Bikeriders 2023
This movie actually impacted me profoundly lol. At first I thought it was about the masculine urge to make your friends watch you do stuff. But slowly the shenanigans turn into deep uneasiness and chaotic violence. Turns out it’s about how rare it is for things to be coherent and good, how most everything will fray and unravel. Especially true of a fragile group of men who cannot acknowledge their own inherent vulnerability.
I LOVED THIS MOVIE! Jodie Comer really grounded it and I want her pants. I thought the last second was really romantic but maybe I’m wronggggg idk
