  i like it a lot, but I think i wanted to love it more than I actually did.

  the great bits really are great. visually i was awestruck by the first act of the journey to the castle. the editing, the cinematography of the interior with the blown out film in candlelight, and night scenes which are almost monochrome with just a bit of blue, which i imagine is a tribute to the black and white film in murnau’s nosferatu…

  rewatched just to confirm if I am crazy and I disliked it even more this time. the most mediocre film that has been lauded to the heavens. Its not completely bad, and the martial arts choreography was nice to watch, and some of the character relations were endearing but they were constantly brought down by the overly silly rick and morty x marvel cinema tone and jokes, of which I found exactly none to be funny.

  absolutely abhor this movie; i’m completely done with the whole multiverse spiel. all the fucking worst lessons of the already mediocre multiverse movies made by marvel.

  the ooooooooooonly good part of it was hearing the elfman score for just a moment.

  also hate the disgusting cg of dead actors, fuck that.
