Dumb.
Sharon Stone plays a “Movie-Star Nerd” that moves into a high rise that’s called a “sliver” building due to its dimensions. Billy “Second-Best” Baldwin owns the building (spoilers!) and makes a lot (all) of sense as the killer, but they reshot the ending to make it be Tom “The Substitute” Berenger.
