  so gentle and beautiful. there's something really deep here about Buddhism and spirituality, the way time and memories and reality are experienced all at once. It reminds me a lot of the Buddhist spirituality from back home that is hard to grasp yet familiar

  Wow where to begin. I haven't felt this strongly about a film since everything everywhere. One of the most visually striking movies I've seen and fully makes use of and pushes the boundaries of animation. I especially love the scenes between Gwen and her father. They use rhis beautiful muted watercolor style that uses various colors to emphasize the emotions of the characters. Gwen colored in blue to highlight her feeling of alienation.
