Berserk 1997
I still stand by the fact that the manga is the best way to experience Berserk's story, but I love this release for lots of its' own, entirely unique reasons.
Although it's definitely plagued with countless issues with underfunding, it still did a great job of bringing the "feel" that the manga really had. Although I enjoyed the trilogy films a decent amount; there's always going to feel like a piece is missing in a way only 1997 pulls through…
