  Been wanting to see this for awhile and finally got around to it, and wow this was great. Horrible things happened in Vietnam and this puts that all on display. Shows the horror of not just war but what people can do to other humans. Not being able to trust your own brothers in arms is a horrible fear. Amazing movie, finally finished the "trilogy" of Vietnam war classics. My only gripe is that this movie shows its age more than the other Vietnam classics.

  Great movie, some good acting all around. Definitely a great side to see, don't normally see movies of a tight knit tank group. Definitely showed the harsh realities of war as well.

  Just rewatched, still as good as I remember. Such an anxious movie, and keeps u intrigued whole way through. Need to rewatch uncut gems now too

  This was a beautiful movie, every shot da felt like a painting. Definitely need to see a few more times, not sure I entirely got what it was trying to say but overall was a good movie. Great portrayal of him getting to greatness just to fall back down to nothing.
