The Blob 1988
This one is a blast! I’m so impressed by most of the effects in this one. Despite this being a horror movie from the 80’s a lot of the characters have a little depth to them. Even characters that get eaten by the blob have things going on in their lives outside of the tropes they usually represent in these types of movies. There’s a few curveballs in this one and it keeps you on your toes. This is a very entertaining movie and one to check out if you haven’t seen it before.

Fun little monster movie who’s Jaws comparisons are apt. I didn’t really latch on to the characters and the deeper subplot was somewhat lost on me but regardless of that it’s an entertaining film.
