this movie was a bit underwhelming honestly, i had higher expectations and it was a bit boring. i feel like it went by pretty quick and it was so similar to other movies so i felt like i had already seen it. alot of people were talking about ayo edebri and how excited they were to see her in this movie but i had never seen anything with her so i didnt know what to expect. she did good considering what she had to work with. john malkovich was entertaining and i enjoyed the scenes with him.

this movie had so many emotions, i was invested the whole time, funny as shit. mikey madison did amazing, mark eydelshteyn was hilarious and played his role perfectly. i really liked igor, he was really funny and a good character throughout. ending was sad as hell and the silent credits was so loud. it deserved every award it got

only 60 minutes but a very powerful message. it covers a-lot in such a short amount of time. i enjoyed diouana’s narration throughout and i think it does a great job emphasizing the struggles of people in less fortunate countries and the hardships they face while trying to find work and a new life in another country.
