Prefacing this review by saying i am a Nic Cage superfan. That being said, this film was great. Willem Dafoe, another actor i adore, was the creepiest little perv with weird teeth i've ever seen. Laura Dern is very pretty and i never realized it during Jurassic Park but i should've. Nic's perpetual Elvis impression juxtaposed with him and Laura's heavy metal obsession rlly did something for me. That snake skin jacket is a great commentary on indivuality and personal freedom.
