Visually stunning and yet completely vapid.

It only gets one star for the amazing fighting animation.

The first Wonder Woman had gravity, it had heart. Things mattered.

Wonder Woman 1984 yeets all of that into the bin, including itself.

Magic man makes wishes come true which apparently causes chaos, and then we get a mini-lecture at the end about how selfish we are. Poof, the world goes back to normal and everyone is left feeling like they wasted 2 hours of their life.

I am really glad they only made 1 Wonder Woman movie. Making a sequel would ruin it. And I am glad they didn't try a gimmick, like setting it in the 80s or something equally ridiculous.

These days, movies are spectacles - made to leave your jaw on the floor with their twists, visuals and... other big stuff.

This is not a spectacle movie. But it is fun. Very fun. And that is what movies, at their heart, should be. You wont get tired from over thinking the plot, you wont give birth to baby smiles due to laughter, but what you are left with is a sense of adventure and excitement. It has the perfect mix of everything.

This is a great, fun movie and everyone can enjoy it.

Nothing happens. Seriously. Its completely skipable.
