Wicked 2024
Masterpiece from start to finish. Elphaba and Glinda (she’s not Galinda anymore) are both absolutely fantastic.
Since I watched, in my head I can’t stop hearing: ‘I hope you’re happy, I hope you’re happy now.’ ‘Defying Gravity’ is THE MOMENT. It’s iconic, legendary, everything.

The Substance 2024
This is probably one of the most interesting horror films of 2024. Demi Moore is fantastic as Elisabeth Sparkle, really capturing the struggles of aging and self-image. It feels like a solid comeback for her. Margaret Qualley also shines as Sue, perfectly embodying society’s obsession with youth. Their chemistry is a huge part of what makes the film work.
Visually, it’s stunning with bold colors and impressive practical effects. The movie does a great job of blending social commentary with horror in a fresh and engaging way. It’s definitely worth checking out!

Emilia Pérez 2024
The film surprised me in a good way, and honestly, the amount of hate it’s getting feels completely disproportionate. I don’t fully get all the negative criticism—sure, it takes risks and has its own style, but it’s an entertaining film, visually striking, and has some really powerful moments. It might not be my top pick for the Oscar, but it was a cool experience and definitely something different from the usual.

Longlegs 2024
From the very first scene, the fear got under my skin and I couldn’t shake it off for hours after the movie ended. Nicolas Cage is absolutely phenomenal, delivering a villain you won’t be able to forget anytime soon.
While watching the movie you feel like evil is lurking in every corner of the screen. The cinematography is flawless, but what really blew me away was how the film plays with music and silence to amplify the fear. It’s like…

Gladiator 2000
This is a masterpiece! One of those films that perfectly blends drama and action. The soundtrack is iconic and adds so much depth to the film.
Ridley Scott delivers one of his best works, with an exceptional cast, especially Joaquin Phoenix. I love it when a villain is so well-portrayed that from the moment they appear on screen, you already want them dead, and that's exactly what happens with Commodus. Both Commodus and Maximus knew exactly how to steal the show (that Maximus reveal, wow).
Can't wait to see Paul Mescal as Lucius in the sequel!
