Lin-Manuel Miranda would have never been cast as the lead if he didn’t make this.
His acting is not great (especially when he tries to cry) and his singing is worse than everyone else on stage (which isn’t saying much because he’s surrounded by some amazing voices). Also we’re supposed to buy him as a sex symbol that every woman wants to get with? Seriously?

This is just like 3 of Bong’s movies all smashed together. Not derogatory because he makes pretty good movies.
He has a really miraculous ability to keep his extremely obvious political/economic commentary from being as annoying and surface level as it should be.
Pattinson was great, Ruffalo was great. Two actors I am betting big on, as their last few roles have been the best of their respective careers. I didn’t love Toni Collette’s character but she did her thing.
Drags on at the end. Some annoying dialogue, but overall funny. Worth a watch.
