The Killer 2023
Something does not feel right in the Fincher-verse. As if missing some key ingredient, the aesthetics finely tuned, cannot cover some infinite hollow center. Is this the point? Like the main character, nothing lurks beneath the ravenous pursuit of perfectly executing procedure. Meta-commentary on Fincher's methods cannot make up for the lack of emotional investment achieved for anyone in this film.
