This had the potential to be great but i felt that the characters lacked depth and complexity, which made it pretty difficult to connect to any of them.   Not an enjoyable watch, but that's definitely the point. Clearly a rejection of previous attempts to use traditional Hollywood editing to aesthetically embelish difficult topics and make them easier to watch. Instead there is a heavy use of Bazinian realism and naturalism, and unsettling use of sound and juxtaposition. Chilling
