this really deserved a theater release. the animation of the soul world is fucking gorgeous — shimmery blue green purples, infinite particles of indigo abyssal sand, translucent and glowing geometries…
also funny (this is the spoiler part) that I watched this a week after watching Perfect Days. like how did I manage to string together two films where komorebi is the essence of life
