The cinematography is fabulous, it gives off a vibe of German expressionism. Characters are no longer the main focus in the movie so it’s not quite consistent.
It also exudes a morbid sense of male superiority. Had the old men assumed that they were physically coveted by young females,would they have been living in their slumberland？
