    Dark, surreal, often quite absurd but an oddly touching story too. Vic and Blood's relationship and interactions can be surprisingly tender. I especially loved the ending, it really encapsulates the strengths of the film.

    The downsides are it's pretty low budget, and I do agree that there is a sort impossible to escape uncomfortableness with Vic being a violent rapist. It's way more interesting than the ridiculous notion that you can't portray bad characters at all, or that it's an…

    This is a weird one. It's definitely a bit silly at times and has a Hallmark movie air to it, but it also has a lot of good going on. It's funny and heartfelt, but the pacing and latter 1/3rd of the film get messy.

    I definitely enjoyed it, and how certain things are portrayed are done really well, it's quite at odds with the melodrama.

    Recommended, and I did especially enjoy that a good friend of mine has an often stated desire to give Rachel Sennot a good seeing to - which only enhanced the comedic aspects of the movie!
