From Up on Poppy Hill 2011
One of my favorite Ghibli movies I should say that this film is a sweet little love story that follows the two high school protagonists, but romance aside, my interpretation of the movie is about trying to adapt to change where the new meets the old. I think the movie also reminds us that it's ok to be innovative as long as we acknowledge the history or culture rooted in us.
