  Watched after weeks of swooning for my Thai manager. Did learn a few things about how I feel upon viewing. I don’t think I want to consume her spirit or memories, she’s a bit of a Disney adult and I think she put electro swing on the work playlist so… not as magical as what took place before me watching this. Truly incredible stuff here, go watch this now.

  Things I liked about this

  1. Ghostly zombies who like just standing still scaring people by looking spooky, poofing into thin air to teleport behind them to pull brains out of their skulls like some pro wrestler fatality.

  2. How much fulci absolutely nails spooky vibes, I still think house by the cemetery hits it better but I loved this

  First film to kick off Halloween horror marathon in my hospital bed.

  Watched while constantly hiding to make sure no one could see what I was watching.

  Unnecessary animal cruelty drags this one for me. Depictions of the tribes are a little too cheeky. The theme goes hard. The premise of a film crew like this makes me more sick than the visual gore here. Also, I think the idea of this film as a whole feels contradictory. Like let’s…
