  honestly really enjoyed this film lol fantastic amount of intrigue, tight and straightforward. I love workplace gossip in interesting workplaces. Great depiction of the insular nature of the church—the church, the robes, the sequestering. I do think things worked out a little too cleanly, candidates going down left and right. And the final reveal felt unnecessary.

  I kind of loved it?? and it was what was needed at this point in life when I think so much about what am I doing in a day and what is progress in life and what makes me happy and ??
  - all the side characters are fun little characters
  - every public toilet is insanely beautiful wtf
  - should I get into cassettes?
  - is it time to go back to Japan?

  great descent into madness, so visceral, I was so annoyed by Nina but she did embody this soft spoken rigid character so well. good integration of ballet and sexuality and sanity in the exploration of control!
