  this film felt a little flat for me. it's obviously hard not to compare it to the masterpiece the og is. putting that to the side though, two of the leads were the biggest problem for me. regina just didn't feel very...regina like to me. renee is a lovely singer, but it just wasn't convincing enough for me. cady's role not having an actual singer be cast for it, really hurt that role in my opinion. i feel where this movie shines is its supporting cast, that's where the fun really is.

  the acting. everybody involved deserves their flowers for this movie. rachel & tom's chemistry was off the charts. part 2 of this movie really did something for me. although the entire movie was great, everything about that specific part of the movie really ticked my brain. this made me want to re-watch all the other movies in this franchise (?).
