  “Eephus” is the best baseball movie ever made, and it’s the one I’ve waited my whole life for. As elegiac and cosmic as it is gangly and hard nosed. It’s like if a Replacements song was a baseball movie. Between this and “Christmas Eve in Millers Point,” Omnes Films has now cemented their role as the vanguard independent production house in North America. A masterpiece.
