  Okay. Don’t kill me at the stake for this (lol) but I just… didn’t love it. I went into it expecting to love it, and I was sooo disappointed. Did I scream? Yep. Was the acting out of this WORLD? Yep. Was the film shot so beautifully? Yep. I can’t really pinpoint what didn’t click for me. Some parts of it felt really corny to me (and that usually does not phase me/bother me). And I fucking LOVE vampires. I dunno, man. I’m bummed. I wish it hit for me the same way it hit for everyone else.
