  i loved how scenes were concentrated on portraying the beauty of poland with every small detail, but at the same time drew our attention to the complicated bond between cousins — the pain about the loss of their grandma and getting to know the country she used to live in only enhance the real pain that they are struggling with. it drove me to the conclusion that no matter what happened between you or how long you haven’t seen one another, you can always rely on each other because you’re connected by the same history
