  Pure absolute spectacle, the first 3/4 of the film was just FUN to watch in its over the top extravagance and Tony Leung living his best life. Andy Lau did not get as much screen time as I thought he would, but the makeup stylists and costume directors did an amazing job. Some of the cinematographic sequences were just so good.
