cate blanchett is bernadette fox and i can't picture anyone else playing her!!!!!!
the real heart of the movie is bernadette and bee's relationship, it's what moved me to tears and made me the most emotional. the first half of the film is by far the strongest, and i wish it hadn't deviated so much from the book for the second half. but all in all, it's a worthy adaption of the book.
