cried twice.
the idea of the open ended ending / lack of a true ending and how common of an outcome it can become when dealing with loss and change really resonated with me. the film almost becomes a "coming of age" while all of the men are clearly grown past that point in their lives.
film is shot absolutely beautifully, and nothing can describe it no matter how many words I add that end in -LY.
carson lund hit it out of the park with his directorial debut and could not have made me happier on this late thursday evening.
