Robert Pattinson is such a good actor. I really enjoyed this film but some of the political stuff didn't fully land for me. It's like all the things Trump is doing right now. If you wrote them into a script, it would seem farcical even though they are very real. I'm not saying conservatives aren't capable of doing the abhorrent things they do in this film in real life, they absolutely are, but at times it felt a little too over the top.

Thor: Ragnarok 2017
Not as perfect as I remember but pretty close. So much more energy than the previous two. I do wish Odin's revisionist history was addressed a little better. The sins of the father is a recurring theme in the MCU, particularly in regards to Tony Stark and his dad, but it never gets fully explored.

The Witch 2015
The kind of horror film I can actually watch. Meticulously crafted to keep you on the edge of your seat from the unrelenting dread of the situation, rather than relying on jump scares. Jump scares do have their place as a creative technique but I personally can't stand them. The film also has a lot to say about the time period and the messages remain pertinent to modern times.
