  West Side Story 2021

  This film is hauntingly beautiful. Heavy themes of gentrification and racism were felt throughout, but were needed to depict what life was like in the 50s that still holds true in some ways. I loved the cinematography and the use of lights. I somehow wish there was more to the ending, but overall a great depiction of the musical.

  Dark, mysterious, intriguing. As someone who hasn’t watched a lot of Batman in the past, I was able to follow the characters and the storyline (despite the hushed tones). Great chemistry, amazing cinematography, and the scoring was flawless.

  Okay you caught me, I watched Sing 2 before finishing the rest of Sing. Good soundtrack, intriguing plot, funny characters and not surprised why they made a sequel. An enjoyable film for all ages.

  Murder Mystery 2019

  At first, I wasn’t sure how I would like this film. It felt random and sporadic (but then again that holds the essence of mystery books). However, as the plot picked up, I excused some of the annoying characters and thoroughly enjoyed the rollercoaster a murder mystery is supposed to take you on. It ain’t no Knives Out, but enjoyable nonetheless.
