  While watching this I remembered the last time I saw it was 2008. It was my birthday and I was alone and ate an eighth of mushrooms. Unsurprisingly, it felt profound then, and watching it now it’s eerie to see just how relevant it has continued to be. Could use POC actors though.

  Probably the spookiest thing was the all too familiar toxic masculine ego risking itself and everything it loves, just to feed itself. How does one lie to their family and put them in danger like that? Like I said, spooky.
