  I hate that I cried over an insufferable, lonely, depressed, hard to love man who is afraid of vulnerability and affection. But goddamn what a character. Al Pacino deserved the Oscar.

  I like the portrayal of what would a person do when they're pushed to the edge. I like the rhythm of the writing. It's basically a courtroom drama but presented in a less dramatised, more grounded manner, which I enjoyed.
