Release the Izzat cut! There’s something charming about watching an unimposing old lady clutch a Super 8, as she pointed it towards the lights that danced in her sky. This was a fun little evening “mystery rabbit hole” that I wish had more public attention and coverage.
There seems to be a small but active Facebook group of Dorothy’s close family and friends that are debating the restoration of her rolls of film. I hope they can find the time and funding to digitize the rest of her filmography, and post more of her images online for us to see!
