The Piano Teacher 2001
So I'm gonna be too real. I love how accurately this film portrays hyper vigilance, being sheltered and developing extreme desires you don't know your limits on, and how easy it is for power dynamics to sour. It's very slow paced and leaves a feeling like an open sore after you watch. It's very very graphic and doesn't spare on the violence.

So... Tim Burton wrote this long convoluted story with almost no character development for anyone. Monica Bellucci was cast in a role specifically made for a callback to a throw away gag in the original (or more accurately because Burton is dating her).
