So boring. I’m not sure what the plot really was. Things moved slowly and it wasn’t even really chilling or scary. Maybe I’m just stupid and I don’t understand what it was trying to do

The movie was generally okay. I liked some of the musical numbers (the Loathe bit by Ariana Grande was fun, the library dance scene by Jonathan Bailey was refreshing, and the Defying Gravity part by Cynthia Erivo was a major success). However, some parts of the movie felt a bit pointless to me. For instance, did we really need a number on them arriving in the capital of Oz? Or Michelle Yeoh’s character singing? Or that Jeff Goldblum’s bit? Perhaps not. It could have been a lot more concise is what I’m trying to say.
