  felt like a mix of silence of the lambs and sinister, but both of those films did their respective concepts so much better. it keeps happening these days that I watch a movie meant to pay homage to another film but does it so poorly that I just want to turn it off and go watch the originals.

  If this was marketed as a trashy b-horror movie, it would have been amazing. But I expected so much more and ultimately that killed the film for me
