If you love history and science then you’ll be enthralled by the showcase of both in this biopic. Nolan does a great job with displaying the controversial nature of Robert Oppenheimer as long as his feud with Lewis Strauss.

This movie had a different effect for me because as a long time fan I waited for this movie to come out. I wasn’t disappointed. I expected a movie of hayao miyazak reflecting on death as well as passing on the torch for the studio. The pacing is a touch out of place and I think miyazaki needed more time to flesh out what he was trying to say. But a real unique movie from him in the last couple of years.

An interesting old fairy tale vibe of a movie. The movie is directed at a younger audience, but it has something to say about regret and the adult experience.

Action packed Hayao Miyazaki masterpiece. The world is extremely immersive and creative. Definitely a unique Miyazaki movie, but with his usual theme of protecting nature.
