  Recommended by a coworker, I watched this movie at a cinema filled with a ton of lovely elderly ladies and their friends. One of them stopped me to say she got emotional after the screening: well to be honest it was very funny! Serra Yılmaz has so much charisma on screen she surely knows how to control men so much so she rubbed off some of her powers onto Anna. Bravo, Maurizio Nichetti! Amichemai is an amazing example for indie cinema with a perfect sequence of mise en abyme.

  Jesse Eisenberg has very graceful feet indeed. The incredible scenery makes me want to visit Poland sometime soon. Amazing acting from Kieran Culkin. This movie was such a bop or should I say … Blork!? It certainly exceeded my expectation from an actor like Jesse Eisenberg whose dorky Libran charm I always adored on screen : I was shocked to find out he was an aesthete in the truest sense. I loved how elements of brashness and sensibility were intertwined.

  I am giving this four stars only because YouTube’s quality on this is just terrible and doesn’t do it justice. I hope someone does a better job at re uploading it online. 

  Otherwise a very pretty and poetic fashion film. Will be thinking of this for the next few days. Rest in peace David Lynch.
