The binary sunset is my favourite scene on any piece of media I’ve watched. It’s the calm before the storm. The start of the greatest saga ever shown on a screen. Interstellar 2014
I’ve finally got to watch it on an imax screen and the difference is immense. It’s my 5th watch of the film but it still managed to make me cry in 5 different scenes. Matthew McConaughey in this is now my favourite performance of any actor. I’ve never had emotions translate so perfectly from the screen to me till today. Sing sing was very close but for me the spectacle of the massive theatre helped surpass it. With the help of incredible visuals and a perfect score Cristopher Nolan managed to create the greatest film on love.
