  kinda want to give it 3.75 stars but i don’t want to be cursed by my korean ancestors. i wanted to watch this 봉준호 movie for so long and it was kinda disappointing?? the cinematography w beautiful and 송강호 is a superSTAR, but there’s nothing worse than having to watch two cops keep fucking up at every turn and people dying bc of their mistakes, only for them to end up never finding the killer!! (even tho i know it was based on a true story)

  i was told this was a scary horror movie, but what i got was just another creepy true crime plot with some (??) elements of possession?? tbh nicholas cage earned all 3 of my stars with his acting bc he successfully gave me the heebeegeebeez like yes pop off king
