  A really beautiful and poetic movie about life and death. The only problem I had with it is that not knowing why the taxi driver wanted to kill himself prevented me from having empathy and connecting with him and that sometimes a few scenes were too long, but other than that I really recommend. It is beautifully made and touches the soul.

  I absolutely fell in love with this movie!!! As a girl with Uzbek heritage I was so excited to see it and it didn’t fail me AT ALL!!! It was super authentic, I feel like I know at least 50 random Uzbek, Kavkaz, Armenian, Russian uncles like that. I couldn’t stop laughing even if there wasnt anything funny going on. And we all DEFINITELY know someone like Ivan😭

  Didn’t expect to like it but I’m actually kind of in love!! This definitely isn’t the usual mediocre type of drama about royalty this was absolutely insane. Had so many gothic touches that made me feel like I’m in a horror movie, I was so invested and scared for some characters, shocked again and again about the cruelty of royalty.
  I also have to add that it had a very feministic view, showing women at such times as smart and powerful no less than men. 
  I really recommend watching and I definitely think the marketing of this movie isn’t doing it any justice
