On a technical surface, this film is a masterclass in itself. How can color schemes divide societies that much? How can it work as poetry and send a visual letter to the audience on how they should feel and interpret what’s on display? This blows my mind every time, but man, Bong Joo-ho and Hong Kyung-pyo know how to do their jobs.
