started off really strong with that unique premise… which then turned into a commentary on cancel culture ? ending felt flat, lazy, and uninspired. still, props for bringing something new to the table.
the film, for me, was awfully reminiscent to ‘men’ with its striking visuals and editing. seeing ari aster’s name on the ending credits was the only explanation i needed. nicolas cage was great, as usual. his portrayal of an uptight, anxious, and awkward character was so good…
2025 goal: to be as visibly invisible, as chill, and give zero fucks like the guy in the background. one where people would go, “who the fuck was that guy?” and proceed to move on with their lives lol
