  I loved the approach, the cinematography, the use of color—every frame felt deliberate. The slow-motion shots, the black-and-white sequences evoking the past, the raw yet unflinchingly honest portrayal of reality—all masterfully executed. Even the acting was beyond incredible. Some b&w shots felt like paintings, frozen in time. Honestly, there’s nothing to criticize—it’s a stunning piece of filmmaking. And that scene… I’ll never recover.

  I lost count of how many times I cried during this film. It’s been a long time since a movie moved me this deeply. I still don’t understand why animated films have such a strong effect on me, but I can say that the entire cinema lived the experience as I did. I could hear people swallowing their tears, mixed with some childlike laughter here and there, coming from every seat.

  Well, we all knew this wasn’t going to be better than its predecessor, but still, it was a good and entertaining watch.

  There are quite a few things that didn’t work for me, though. The emperors annoyed me and looked like they came straight out of Hunger Games’ District 1. And the animals in the film? Like… what? I understand if Scott wanted to reinvent himself and make things feel a bit more modernish, but those beasts gave off anything…
