  comparison is the thief of joy and there was nothing in this movie as interesting as the last supper scene in nosferatu the vampyre. everyone is so loveless and humorless and boring. the shame/desire thing is SO heavy handed but also not really explored or resolved in an interesting way at all? just kind of a boring icky slog. 

  looks awesome a lot of the time but just didn’t make me feel any of the affection toward the characters that bram stoker dracula/nosferatu 1922 did or quiet natural eeriness that nosferatu 1979 did

  finally got around to it, pretty fun watch. I watched this right after mean girls (2024) and it was fun but then I watched Hairspray and now I’m wondering why we lost the ability to make musicals look and sound good? but I don’t make movies so what do I know
